GEAR UP FOR THE 44TH ST MAARTEN HEINEKEN REGATTA!
Save the date: on the 29th of February till the 3rd of March, St Maarten is welcoming the 44th Heineken Regatta
Join the largest boat event in de Caribbean on the 44th St Maarten Heineken Regatta, held at Simpson Bay. Four days of racing with different types of boats, like catamarans and sailing boats. The event annually pulls around 20.000 visitors, coming from 37 different countries. The event is organized by a collaboration between Heineken Regatta and the St Maarten Yacht Club, also located on Simpson Bay. You can participate at the race by the age of 18 and older. Thereby, you can join either as a young professional or an international sailor. At the end of each day, all participants may enjoy some great local food paired with an ice-cold Heineken, which has been recognized as a tradition for many years. If you do not want to participate, you can also enjoy the regatta from the beachside at Simpson Bay. Then, you have got a perfect view over more than 200 sailing boats entering and leaving the lagoon, through the Simpson Bay Bridge.
Everybody is welcome at the 44th edition of the St Maarten Heineken Regatta. Be sure to arrive earlier, or stay longer so you can discover everything St Maarten has to offer, both on and off the water.
