Take a hike! The EPIC foundation as well as the heritage museum have laid out various walking routes through St. Maarten / Saint Martin’s nature.

• More recently, the Bethechange Foundation created a walking route along Philipsburg murals created by local artists.

• The relatively new Amuseum Naturalis of the Fruits de Mer foundation gives a great insight of St. Maarten history and nature, including exhibitions.

• The same for the Heritage Museum in Philipsburg!

• Visit the old salt mill, a remnant of Sint Maarten’s salt economy of once.

• Stroll or drive up Pic Paradis, the highest peak of the island. A great way to end your hike is to take a cocktail at Loterie Farm.
