IGY Yacht Club Isle de Sol organizes Superyacht Captains Symposium
IGY Yacht Club Isle de Sol in Sint Maarten will host a Superyacht Captains Symposium, “Preparing for the Med 2024”, on Tuesday 20th February.
An exclusive gathering tailored for superyacht captains and senior crew members, this Mediterranean-centric event offers a unique opportunity for captains, country-specific specialists, and seasoned industry professionals.
The event, sponsored by IMM and Nautech, will start at 10am and feature six 10-minute talks on Mediterranean regulations, activities, and insights which can directly impact superyacht operations this season. The event welcomes all superyacht captains and crew members, while participation for other attendees is strictly by invitation.

Designed as an intimate affair, it serves as a forum for meaningful discussions, idea exchange, and networking in a non-commercial, invitation only atmosphere. Six informative presentations will delve into the regulations and emerging trends relevant to superyachts in Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Malta, and Croatia.
These sessions will aim to equip owners, crew members, and vessels with valuable insights tailored to each country’s unique landscape. Following the presentations, a Round Table discussion will provide a platform for further exploration and collaboration, and the event will conclude with a networking lunch.
