FAXINFO: HEINEKEN REGATTA 2023: A LOOK BACK AT THE SPECTACULAR ORIENT BAY SHOW
HEINEKEN REGATTA RETURNS TO ST MARTIN AFTER 11 YEARS
From March 2 until March 5t, the 43rd edition of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta was being held on the island. The Heineken Regatta is a sailing race, but provides serious fun at parties and events across the whole island. For over 11 years, the Heineken Regatta was only held on the Dutch side. This year, the event returned to the French side.
Throughout the island there were a lot of so called Greenzones, where there were parties organized by various organizations. One of those Greenzones was at Bikini Beach in Orient Bay, at the French side of the island. On Saturday there was a party there which was organized by the Saint-Martin Tourist Office.
There were various artists performing at the party. DJ Big Boss and DJ Maestro started the performance off and they did a great job at hyping up the crowd. A little later, Tamilla performed. Who performed more deliberate than she normally does. After that Jahyanai King, artist from Guyana took over to hype the crowd even more. The main act of the evening was TAYC, a famous French rapper.
