We’re here to promote Sailing and Youth Sailing on the beautiful and sunny island of Sint Maarten!
Here’s what we do:
• We organize races and regattas for our members & non-members
• We provide instruction and training for sailing and racing
• We offer both group and private Youth and Adult Sailing classes
• We have a lot of dinghy sailboat for rent
• We organize a monthly Trivia Night and more social activities.
One of our goals is to make sailing available for as many individuals as we can. In an effort to make sailing accessible to a broader audience, The Sint Maarten Yacht Club pursues this goal through two projects:
• The Sint Maarten Yacht Club sailing school provides free sailing classes for primary schools on Sint Maarten, during school hours. These classes are funded by private / business donations and the sport department of the Sint Maarten government. A part of this program is the SWIM 2 SAIL – program. This is a program especially for the students that are not able to swim yet or don’t feel comfortable being in/around the water.
• The Sint Maarten Yacht Club sailing school provides free sailing classes for students challenged with a mental or physical disability.

SATURDAY – SUNDAY: Closed
The Sint Maarten Yacht Club is the organizer of pub quizzes, Optimist Championship, Course de L’Alliance, Multiclass Regatta, Caribbean Multihull Challenge, Heineken Regatta, National Dinghy Championship and the Domino’s Regatta. See the St Maarten Events Calendar when the next edition is slated!
