SOUALIGA NEWSDAY: SYBA BEGINS CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON
YOUTH BASKETBALL RETURNS TO THE COURTS
The Soualiga Youth Basketball Association (SYBA), which is located in Philipsburg, has been out of the picture in the sports sector of Sint Maarten for several years, but will now return to the courts. The SYBA are committing themselves for a proper development of student athletes and they are responsible for the growth and management of youth Basketball in Sint Maarten.
The SYBA has multiple teams ranking from ages 11 to 19. The teams that are under 19, 17 and 15 are competing for the title Champion League, the teams that are under 13 and 11 not just yet. If someone feels like joining one of those teams as athlete, coach or trainer, they can send an email to sybau19@gmail.com. SYBA expresses their gratitude towards parents, student athletes, schools and sponsors. The games of the teams from SYBA can be watched at their social media pages.
