CRUISE HIVE: QUEEN MARY 2 SETS SAIL FOR ST MAARTEN AFTER UPKEEP IN ROTTERDAM

The Queen Mary 2 recently completed an extensive three-week dry dock in Rotterdam, undergoing technical maintenance and renovations. The Damen Shiprepair yard managed the complex project, requiring careful planning and overcoming challenges like a limited tidal window for docking. The refurbishment included exterior paint, interior upgrades, and maintenance to ensure the iconic ocean liner’s efficiency. Now, ready for winter service, Queen Mary 2 will embark on a 124-day world cruise, departing from New York City in January 2024 and covering diverse destinations across the globe, including a visit to the St Maarten cruise port.
