TATLER: PRINCESS CATHARINA-AMALIA-THE HEIR TO THE DUTCH THRONE-FIRST VISIT TO ST MAARTEN FOR ROYAL TOUR
Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands is set to step onto the world stage early next year, as it has been announced that the 18-year-old heir to the throne will be joining her parents, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima on their royal tour of the Caribbean.
In February 2023, the family will be touring Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, countries which make up the Dutch Caribbean.
The House of Orange will no doubt be hoping for a warmer reception than that given to the Windsors, whose own visit to the Commonwealth earlier this year was met with protests from some groups.
Princess Catharina-Amalia will be joining the University of Amsterdam later this month to study
