How to get to Sonesta Ocean Point

How to get to Sonesta Ocean Point from the Oyster Bay, Philipsburg, Cruise Port, Simpson Bay and Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) areas 

From Oyster Bay or Dawn Beach, follow Oyster Pond Road into Philipsburg. At the first roundabout, turn right onto Pondfill Road (when coming from the AC Wathey Cruise Port, turn left onto this road). 

From Philipsburg’s Pondfill road, cross the traffic lights and continue the road until you reach a rotunda with Mother and Child. Go left and keep following the road uphill. 

On the next traffic circle, turn right with Cole bay Hill on your right and the sea on your left. Pass Harold Jack Viewpoint. 

When arriving downhill, go left on the Osborne Kruythoff roundabout. Follow this road, over Simpson Bay Bridge until you see Princess Juliana International Airport on your left hand side. Take the Pelican rotunda beyond the airport fence to your left and follow the road along the airport terminal. 

When you reach the Maho Beach Roundabout, turn right. Within seconds, you now see the entry to Sonesta Maho, which is also the entrance to Sonesta Ocean Point. Continue however through Maho Village until you almost reach the St Maarten Golf Course. You find Sonesta’s parking garage on your left hand side right before exiting the Maho Village .

How to get to Sonesta Ocean Point from Cupecoy

Sonesta Ocean Point can be easily reached from the direction of Cupecoy buy just traversing the Golf Course. The Sonesta Parking garage is the first building on your right hand side after the golf course. 

How to get to Sonesta Ocean Point from Marigot, Grand Case, Grand Case Airport L’Esperance or Orient Bay

Coming from Orient Bay, take a turn to the right until you reach the roundabout at French Cul de Sac. Go straight and pass Grand Case Airport on your right. 

Continue through Grand Case on the road you are on, and continue all the way through Marigot. Cross the border at the Concordia Border Monument. 

After the border, go right at the first opportunity and cross the Causeway Bridge. Go straight at the next traffic circle along St Maarten’s airport. 

At the end of your route along the Princess Juliana International Airport terminal and its runway, you are at the Maho Beach roundabout. Go right through Maho Village until the last building on your left, being the Sonesta St Maarten Parking garage. 

Parking at Sonesta Ocean Point

Sonesta Maho and Sonesta Ocean Point have a spacious joint parking garage at the Cupecoy side of Maho Village. 

Buses to Sonesta Ocean Point

The St Maarten bus route from Philipsburg to Maho / Cupecoy runs right in front of the resort. On the resort side of the road, buses depart to Philipsburg and the airport. The buses on the other side of the road go to Cupecoy.
