EPIC grass clearing event at Fort Amsterdam

Environmental Protection In the Caribbean (EPIC) is hosting a grass clearing event at Fort Amsterdam upcoming Saturday, December 13th, from 8 to 10am. They are removing invasive weeds in order to help our freshly planted native trees grow, and they need your help. Fort Amsterdam is the only viable nesting site for our island’s national bird, the Caribbean Brown Pelican. As an important ecological site, it is important we preserve and maintain it for critical seabird species.
