Photo of the Week: Iguana At Sea

See attached a great picture of an Iguana sunbathing in Grand Case. Mostly, you would find these friendly creatures inland, but this daredevil apparently actively looks up the shores during hot Caribbean afternoons.

If you would like to see more of this “Iguana Iguana” species, you can find large colonies amongst others on Pinel Island and across from the JW Marriott Hotel. In addition, you can see them in both the Heritage Museum and the Amuseum Naturalis.
