1. First of Its Kind in the Dream Class

 
Carnival Magic is the second ship in Carnival’s Dream-class, but it was the first to introduce several new features that became Carnival staples, like the RedFrog Pub. This bar offers the  ThirstyFrog Red beer, brewed specifically for Carnival ships.
 

2. One of the First cruise ships with a Ropes Course at Sea

 
Carnival Magic was among the first cruise ships to feature a SkyCourse ropes course, offering passengers thrilling, elevated walks with ocean views.
 

3. Outdoor Water Fun with WaterWorks

 
The ship boasts one of Carnival’s largest WaterWorks aqua parks, complete with twisting waterslides, a splash zone, and the iconic PowerDrencher tipping bucket.
 

4. Italian Dining: Cucina del Capitano

 
The ship introduced Cucina del Capitano, an Italian family-style restaurant themed after the heritage of Carnival’s Italian captains – complete with photos of real Carnival captains on the walls.
 

5. LED “Seaside Theater”

 
Carnival Magic has a huge outdoor movie screen (Seaside Theater) on the Lido deck showing movies, sporting events, and concerts under the stars.
 

6. Transatlantic Star

 
Carnival Magic launched in Europe (Venice, Italy) in 2011 and did several transatlantic cruises, giving it an international flair many Carnival ships don’t share.
 

7. Colorful and Bold Interior by Joe Farcus

 
Carnival Magic features whimsical, vibrant interior designs by Joe Farcus, Carnival’s longtime designer known for his bold and theatrical approach to ship décor.
