Caribbean Sailing Association Reveals Regional Sailing Calendar 2026-2030
Planning Your Caribbean Sailing on Time
If you are a Caribbean regatta sailor, you want to be able to plan in advance in order to move your vessel from contest to contest in a timely manner. The Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) is of great service by already releasing its long-term plan of sailing races in the region.
For St. Maarten / St. Martin, that means that its sailing community can anticipate timely on these major events. On island, the globally famous St. Maarten Heineken Regatta and its rapidly growing sister regatta Caribbean Multihull Challenge especially benefit from this schedule.
For the traditionally early February Multihull Challenge, days chosen are January 29 to February 1st, 2026, February 4-7, 2027, February 4-7, 2027, February 3-6, 2028, February 1-4, 2029, and January 31st to February 3d 2030.
For the landmark St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, its early March position seems preserved for five years to come too. Its races are slated for March 5-8 (2026), March 4-7 (2027), March 2-5 (2028), March 1-4 (2029) and March 7-10 for 2030.
Island Impact
These timely additions to the St. Maarten Events calendar allow for planning well ahead – not just for sailors, but also for visitors. As especially the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta week is one of the busiest timeframes of the year on St. Maarten / St. Martin, it requires booking your hotel or villa in advance. The same can be helpful when aiming to reserve a St. Maarten / St. Martin Excursion, like a Heineken Regatta spectator boat tour or private charter.
