ARE ST MAARTEN/ ST MARTIN BEACHES FREE?
An often asked question is whether St. Maartens / St. Martins beaches are free of charge or whether an entry fee is charged.
Both St. Maarten and St. Martin beaches are free of charge. Contrary to various other islands in the region, both Dutch side St. Maarten and French side St. Martin have free beach access for all. In some cases, you would either need to go around a resort or pass through – just let the guard know you are coming for the beach.
