Photo Of The Week: “Helicopter View of Marigot Blue”

This week’s island photo was made from a helicopter, tilting slightly as it passes by French side St. Martin capital Marigot to make this great aerial picture. To the right, you see the French side entry to the binational Simpson Bay Lagoon, home to most island marinas. To the left, you see the circle-shaped piers of the Marigot marina. In between, you see the stretched Marigot boardwalk and its markets with many catamarans anchoring in front of it. In the very back of the photo, you see Pic Paradis towering majestically over the lush green hills.
