Pelikaan Brewery

In 2015, Stephen Winkel, a French artist visiting his home country France, was inspired to start a local brewery after realizing the absence of one on the island. Simultaneously, Nicolas Carlini, a computer scientist from Argentina, had relocated to Sint Maarten and shared a passion for home brewing. The two, connected through mutual friends, decided to combine forces. Despite limited resources, they progressively expanded their home brewery, evolving from 10 to 50-liter batches. With support from friends and family, they transitioned to professional brewing, officially establishing Pelikaan Brewery in October 2017.
