Photo of the Week: Pigeon Parlance
Grand Case Beach Club is not just a great place to hang out as a human. Its waters are known to have a variety of fish well worth a day of snorkeling, especially at Creole Rock, making it a popular anchorage for catamarans on a trip around the island.
But this picture is not about fish. These pigeons, seemingly just checking in in the Grand Case Beach Club reception behind them, appear to have a good time. And given the way they are catered to, they seem to be returning and frequent guests, like many in this hotel, situated on no less than two beaches, are. As they are not shy of the photographer, it tells they are well taken care of.
Are the doves discussing day plans or where to head for in the evening?. Given the fact that their lodging of choice has about 50 restaurants nearby in Grand Case, it could be a long discussion.
