Two countries, one e-bike tour

There is a short stop at the Border Monument, separating the Dutch Side from the French side, where you can earn bragging rights that you cycled through 2 countries in one day!! Your guide will explain about the Concordia Treaty which was signed in the 1600’s and serves to this day as an amicable agreement between the French and Dutch Side of St. Maarten. Continue riding along to Marigot, the French Capital, where you will explore the local market, savoring the sights, smells and sounds of a traditional Caribbean market. Then it’s a short climb to the historic Fort Louis, once a strategic fortress protecting the bay of Marigot.

Today, it lazily watches over the capital, offering magnificent views of the town, the bay and the British neighboring island of Anguilla. You then return to Philipsburg via the same route through Colebay.  Or, if your legs are up to in, you have the possibility of cycling back via an alternate route, circling the Lagoon – but this route adds an extra 5 miles ( approx. 40 mins), at an additional cost of $29.
