SUN COUNTRY AIRLINES ADDS NONSTOP SERVICE FROM MINNEAPOLIS TO ST. MAARTEN
ST MAARTEN AS A DESTINATION
Sun Country Airlines has announced that starting this winter, they will be resuming nonstop flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten (SXM). The flights will operate once a week on Saturdays, specifically from January 13 to April 6, 2024.
Grant Whitney, the Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at Sun Country, expressed the company’s focus on expanding their schedule offerings in MSP. With the extension of this schedule, they aim to provide customers with more flight options and choices in existing markets. Additionally, Sun Country is excited to reintroduce St. Maarten as a destination in their network.
Sun Country already serves over 50 nonstop destinations from MSP during the winter, and they boast the most nonstop flights from MSP to Florida, the Caribbean, and Mexico. In fact, the airline will be increasing its service to Florida and its most popular international destinations starting from December 2023. This winter season will mark Sun Country’s largest schedule in terms of the number of flights and available seats.
