St. Maarten Marathon Opens Registration for Fifth Edition
Registration has opened for the fifth St. Maarten Marathon, scheduled for December 6, 2026. Organized by the St. Maarten Road Runners, the event features four race categories, allowing participants to choose between a full marathon, a half marathon and two shorter distances.
Four Race Categories
The program includes the ENNIA Full Marathon, covering 42.2 kilometers, and the Tortuga Half Marathon, which spans 21.1 kilometers. Participants can also enter the ART of TIME 10K or the HBN Law & Tax 5K.
The different distances offer options for experienced distance runners as well as those interested in a shorter race. Each category has its own designated sponsor, as reflected in the event’s official race lineup.
Bringing Runners to St. Maarten
The annual marathon adds a sporting event to St. Maarten’s December calendar. It provides residents with an opportunity to participate in an organized running competition while also giving visiting athletes a reason to include the island in their travel plans. Sporting events can broaden the range of activities available to visitors beyond the island’s beaches and water based excursions.
