SINT MAARTEN TO HOST FIRST ANNUAL FOOD FESTIVAL THIS NOVEMBER
The St. Maarten Tourism Bureau and the St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association have announced the Dutch Caribbean island’s first annual food festival, dubbed “St. Maarten Flavors.”
The festival will be held throughout November, which is recognized island-wide as the culinary month. The goal of “St. Maarten Flavors” is to offer local restaurants a platform to showcase their creations, besides inviting visitors and locals alike to immerse themselves in the island’s culinary scene. Restaurants will also curate additional experiences, including live music, DJs and DIY sushi sessions. St Maarten is home to a range of cultures and influences including Trinidadian, Asian, Dutch and Italian, among others.
