Insta-Worthy Moments on St. Maarten / St. Martin with Regine Brinson (AKA Chef Ray)
I had the pleasure of experiencing the island of St. Maarten/St. Martin in September 2024. I stayed at the JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa and had plenty of memorable bites during my stay. A few of my favorites were the lobster escargot from Jax Steakhouse, the sea bass from Carambola right on the JW Marriott property, and the espresso martinis at Amore Lounge.
Aside from the cuisine, the activities on my itinerary were full of excitement. The Topper’s Rhum Distillery Tour was fun and gave great insight into the history of the distillery. The horseback riding tour with Seaside Nature Park allowed me to see certain parts of the island from higher grounds and connect with nature. I also took an ATV tour with Bubble Watersports, and they took us on both the Dutch and French sides of the island, giving historical background information.
All in all, St. Maarten / St. Martin was a fantastic time, and I’d recommend coming to this island for anyone looking for a great overall vacation experience. I had the pleasure of partnering with the SHTA and providing my audience with my POV of this beautiful island and what it has to offer.”
