Photo Of The Week: Pink Patio, Lilac Skies
These days, you do not know if a photo is real or adjusted. This one is not.
Though its busiest time is during the day, the Philipsburg boardwalk remains a hotspot for great sunset pictures. This naturally lilac themed picture of the week unites much of the great features this two mile sandy shore has to offer for photographers.
A passerby heads home after a long day of work. The last rays of sun light up scenic Fort Amsterdam in the background. As the sun sets, the MSC Grandiosa makes a turn after collecting all her day trip passengers from St. Maarten. Saba is clearly visible in the background, with its traditional “clouds crown” turning lilac too for the occasion. To finish off a great picture, the pink patio makes a great color combination with the uniquely purple sky behind it.
