FAXINFO: REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR THE SAINT MARTIN CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS COMPETITION
The 2023 Christmas decorations competition in Saint-Martin invites residents to brighten the island with festive displays.
The Tourist Office encourages embracing this local tradition to foster community spirit and enhance the tourist appeal during the holiday season. The competition is open to all residents, free to enter, with two categories: house/apartment and boats, each offering three prizes. An additional “special tradition” and “public favorite” prize will be awarded.
A jury will evaluate entries based on various criteria, with registrations accepted until November 24th. Entries will be judged on the following criteria: presentation – general appearance – layout; decorations – use of color, shape and composition – variety and repetition – sound and light theme; creativity – innovation – originality; welcome received; overall impression. Members of the jury are ineligible to participate, and the competition aims to spread Christmas joy!
