CRUISE INDUSTRY NEWS: CELEBRITY ASCENT PREMIERES CARIBBEAN VOYAGE WITH CALL IN ST MAARTEN!
Celebrity Cruises celebrated the delivery of its newest ship, the Celebrity Ascent, from the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire, France. The Ascent offerins a seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary. The ship’s inauguration included a signing ceremony, flag changing, and a toast. Following its maiden voyage, Celebrity Ascent will offer Caribbean sailings and later embark on Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Rome, featuring diverse itineraries through late April 2024.
The Ascent cruiseschip is the latest addition to the Edge Series and set to premiere in Fort Lauderdale on December 3, embarking on a seven-night Eastern Caribbean journey visiting St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and the Dominican Republic.
