Paradise Peak or Pic Paradis (424 metres, 1391 feet high) is the highest peak on St Maarten / St Martin. The area is in between Marigot and Grand Case, and is one of the lushest areas on island. Paradise Peak allows for various great views over French Quarter , also in the directions of Grand Case and Marigot.
The peak is best reached by car or by 15 minutes hiking from nearby Loterie Farm.
On leisure retreat Loterie Farm, a historic mansion, a walking tour departs along some of the tallest trees on island; passing by a sugar mill and route. You can either walk the same route back after reaching Paradise Peak, or take the sole asphalt road downhill where you find Loterie Farm back easily, halfway before you reach the main road between Marigot and Grand Case.
