Anse Marcel:
Anse Marcel is a pleasant, upscale beach for couples and families. It is nestled in a beautiful tropical quiet bay, protected from the swell. It is a white sandy beach with shade and calm waters making it ideal for families with small children. 
Baie Rouge:
Baie Rouge (also spelled Bay Rouge) is one of the most fabulous, intimate and quiet beaches. It is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon which is serviced by a beach bar & restaurant. If privacy is more your liking, take a short walk down the beach and you will enjoy seclusion and clothing is optional.
Baie Lounge:
Baie Lounge is the beach to the rich and famous at the end of the beach you find St. Martin's most exclusive 5 star hotel, Hotel La Samanna. The beach is never crowded and is perfect for the sunbathers who prefer privacy and quiet. It is also perfect for a romantic afternoon picnic with your significant other.
Great Bay Beach:
Great Bay Beach is one of the longest and widest beaches on the island in Philipsburg. The boardwalk adds an extra touch to this beach as a great place to hang out and party. The thousands of cruise ship visitors that line Great Beach every day can keep an eye on their floating hotel and shopping in Philipsburg is close by. 
Guana Bay Beach:
This is the best beach in St. Maarten/St. Martin for surfers and those that have interest in this water sport activity. The Beach is recommended for strong swimmers because of the heavy current. Make sure to take along your own picnic, umbrella and cooler as there are no services.
Kim Sha Beach:
Conveniently close to the action of developing Simpson Bay area with its resorts, restaurants, nightclubs and casinos. Kimsha Beach is one of the most central beaches on the island. Beach lounges and umbrellas can be rented and water sports toys are available for the water sports lovers. Kimsha Beach is also a nightspot, with occasional concerts and beach parties.
Divi Little Bay Beach:
Divi Little Bay Beach is a small but pretty beach right on the edge of Philipsburg. It serves the two hotels of Bel Air Beach Resort and Divi Little Bay Beach Resort but is also open to the public. If you love diving, this beach is perfect for you as the waters here are generally calm. An ideal spot for children and there is a wide selection of beach equipment from snorkeling gear to jet-skis. You can lounge on the beach chairs and grab a bite at the beach bar. 
Maho Beach:
Maho Beach is a great place to watch the sunset, and home to St. Maarten's largest hotel The Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino and its neighbors, The Royal Islander Club and La Terrasse Suite Hotel. This "little stretch of sand" is also just a few short yards from the runway of The Princess Juliana International Airport where many tourist and locals watch the amazing landings. 
Cupecoy Beach:
Cupecoy Beach is Dutch St. Maarten's semi-official nude beach. Sandstone cliffs give the beach a dramatic golden backdrop, unlike any other beach on the island. Protected from the wind, this beach is perfect for you if you enjoy "baking" in the sun.
Dawn Beach:
Dawn Beach is a fine beach of fine white sand. The name says it all: early risers may enjoy spectacular views of sunrise with St. Barths in the distance. Snorkeling is absolutely incredible here. The surf can sometimes be a little challenging, so for very young children or toddlers Dawn Beach is not always an ideal beach but it all depends on the weather!
Mullet Beach:
Mullet Beach is one of the prettiest and most popular beaches on the Island. It fits the picture of a tropical beach: wide and flat with a stand of palm trees on the edge. The backdrop of sea grapes gives an additional cooling natural shade to this travel catalogue-like beach. Especially on weekends you also may see local families doing barbecues on the beach. 
Simpson bay Beach:
Simpson bay Beach is over a mile long and rather wide. At one time, this area was famous for its families who made their living by fishing. Today, residential and vacation homes dot the beach, as well as a few small resort hotels. This beach is never crowded and is perfect for watching planes and sunsets. 
Orient Beach:
Orient Beach is the most developed the most popular and the busiest beach on the island. It is probably the most famous beach in the entire Caribbean. The beach is known as much for its natural beauty and setting as it is for being the island´s foremost swimsuit optional beach. A major attraction of Orient Beach is of course the nude beach and the world´s famous Club Orient, the island´s only naturist resort at the southern end of the beach. 
Le Galion Beach:
Le Galion Beach, also called Coconut Grove and nicknamed "Baby Beach", is the bay Southeast of busy Orient Bay. This laid back beach is surrounded by a coral reef that serves as a protection, providing calm and shallow waters. It is a wonderful with quiet and calm surf, perfect to visit with small children.
Friar’s Bay:
Friar’s Bay is a pretty, small, family oriented beach. For its calm waters, the beach is ideal for families. It has a fair amount of sand, beautiful seashells to collect, and a good view of the neighboring British island Anguilla. It also has lovely sunset views.
Nettle Bay Beach:
Nettle Bay Beach is on the French side of the Simpson Bay Lagoon. Since the water is so flat here, it's ideal for many water sports, especially waterskiing and kite surfing. Nettle Bay is a short distance from the French side capital of Marigot. Beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are supplied for you to work on that tan. The entrance of the beach is somewhat hidden behind the hotels so follow the signs for the beach bars and you will find it.
Grand Case Beach:
Grand Case Beach is a sweeping curve of a pretty, one mile long, white sandy beach with quite calm waters. The beach is ideal for swimming and has some nice snorkeling spots as well. You have wonderful views of neighboring Anguilla and Créole Rock. The Bay of Grand Case is also the perfect place for a sunset stroll.
Happy Bay:
Happy Bay might just be the most breathtaking, intimate beach on St Martin, and its seclusion adds to the charm. There is presently no road leading to Happy Bay and all visitors must leave their cars at Friars Bay and hike for about 15 minutes on a trail. Take your snorkel gear with you! Happy Bay is one of the best snorkel spots of St. Martin-St. Maarten!
Pelican Key:
Pelican Key is a popular snorkeling spot for visitors coming their way along the long curve of Simpson Bay. The beach is also popular for beach strolls. Pelican Key is one of the most developed residential and resorts' areas on the island. The advantage of Pelican Key is the vicinity to Simpson Bay with its large choice of restaurants, shops, boutiques, casinos and entertainment.
Long Beach:
Long Beach as the name implies it is the longest stretch of white sand beach on the island. It is also one of the most quiet, intimate beaches, and the best for sun-lovers. With its stunning turquoise waters and plenty of privacy, the natural charm of this secluded beach will amaze you. Long Bay is also great for snorkeling, although you won´t find too much coral. Exercise caution, as the sometimes intense surf can make this rugged beauty only for hearty ones.
Plum Bay:
Plum Bay or Baie aux Prunes in French, is just beside Long Bay and well known to surfers. The beach is very little visited during weekdays, although beautiful and without a doubt one of the most peaceful and romantic beaches on the island.
Burgeaux Bay:
Burgeaux Bay is located on the western end of Simpson Bay, which is part of the Beacon Hill. You reach it over a short road from the southern end of the airport. There are a few beach access paths between some of the villas and cottages. It never gets busy here, so you always feel like you are have the beach for yourself.
