Island hopping is considered a great feature of St. Maarten / St. Martin. Many islands are on the horizon, ready for a return ferry ride or flight up and down. Saba is a popular day trip destination for St. Maarten visitors to do so. Annemarijn van Kesteren from Bonaire sent below impressive picture taken from the slopes of mighty Mount Scenery, the highest point in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. To the left, you see the famous elevated air strip of Juancho Yrausquin airport, for which pilots need a special diploma to be able to land.
