Help Us Remain A Safe Destination!

Since the outbreak of the global COVID19 pandemic, St. Maarten and St. Martin have done their utmost best to remain a safe and hospitable destination, with ease of travel. For the hospitality sector guidelines, please see here. See here for a listing of hotels and activity providers obtaining the SafeSeal acknowledgment for high hygiene standards.

Visitors coming from aboard needing a lab result can best take up contact with their hotel of choice as many do on property testing, providing rapid results, or have other solutions to make travel as seamless as possible.

As of the first moment, St. Maarten has actively taken preventive steps to combat the global pandemic outbreak. Please see for the current state of travel requirements.

Efficient and Fast Testing (TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT…)

To make an appointment in Sint Maarten for an antigen test or a PCR test and for more information we recommend our member, specialized company Medwork which allows for online scheduling of your appointment!

In addition, see which accommodations and activities have met the high SafeSeal standards of pandemic prevention measures.

SafeSeal is the immediately recognizable emblem for companies that are verified that they adhere to strict cleanliness and hygiene guidelines to counter the COVID19 pandemic.

Specialized checklists have been devised for businesses, accommodations, shop/retail, lodging, restaurants, casinos and various other lines of business.

By highlighting best practice companies, the organizations want to spread the word that Sint Maarten is making its best effort to be a safe destination. The seal acknowledges a high set of operational standards according to international and local guidelines; 100% guarantee of prevention is not achievable but a level of assurance is provided that the specific entity has been adhering to the standards and has been audited by an independent expert that they are meeting the criteria.
