Cupecoy – Cliffs, Sunset and Beaches

The Cupecoy District is on the outermost southwest Dutch side of the island, where you can see one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island. Cupecoy is a unique hideaway in St. Maarten with a beautiful landscape of limestone cliffs. Cupecoy is located on a stretched area in between of the Caribbean sea and the scenic Simpson Bay Lagoon. In Cupecoy, you also find the campus of the American University of the Caribbean or AUC.

 

“Porto Cupecoy” is a marina in this area, boasting various restaurants with a great view of the lagoon.

Getting Around in Cupecoy

Cupecoy Beach is a unique beach along the pink cliffs. In addition, Mullet Bay Beach is on a 5 minute walk along the St Maarten Golf Course,
