At the border of the Dutch side and the French side of the island, the Tata The Bus Driver monument is located on a roundabout. It is a statue of the bus driver Jean-Frederique Brooks, who always drove the school route. He was known for keeping misbehaving pupils firm in line. He is considered a national hero by many. The steering wheel the statue is holding stands for the whole bus he was driving around the island for all those years.
The statue is accompanied by two other statues. One statue is of Alexander Lionald Richardson, called Alec the Butcher. The other one is of Florian Eulalie Duzanson, called Lalie.
