Pinel – Bites Beyond the Beautiful Beaches
Tiny Pinel Island has much to offer food lovers. Besides its two pristine beaches, it is especially appealing for those looking to enjoy fresh seafood. Its two beach restaurants, Yellow Beach and Karibuni, serve fresh catches of the day, making them the perfect stops between swimming, snorkeling, and hiking adventures. You will easily find them as soon as the ferry arrives at the mooring: Yellow Beach is on your right and Karibuni on your left.
As the island transforms into a peaceful nature reserve after 5 p.m., both restaurants are open for lunch only. During the busy winter high season, making a reservation is highly recommended to secure your table.
You might know Pinel Island as an outstanding beach with great bars. When you take a ten minute strawl to the back (Atlantic side) of the island, you will understand why this island is a protected nature reserve. You are prone during your 5 minute strawl to have run into at least two iguanas, and very possibly a tortoise.
