Guana Bay Beach is located on the eastern/Atlantic side of Dutch Sint Maarten. The beach has a sandy shoreline stretching roughly 500 meters. The sand slopes gently into the sea, meaning a gradual entry into the water without need for special footwear. There are no built‑in facilities such as restaurants, bars or amenities directly on the beach; visitors should bring their own supplies if planning a stay. The beach faces the open Atlantic and is subject to strong waves and currents, making it a popular spot for surfing, wind‑ and kite‑surfing — but not recommended for inexperienced swimmers. The natural setting and ocean views, including a distant view toward nearby islands, make Guana Bay valued for its relative seclusion and scenic character.
