A Hidden Treasure Amongst St. Maarten Beaches

Just as its name would suspect Petite Plage is a small, pristine beach. It is right in front of Creole Rock, one of the supreme snorkeling spots on island. It can be reached by totally going to the end of Grand Case main street.

Where To Find Petite Plage (Small Beach)

Petite Plage is in the North of Grand Case area of St Maarten / St Martin.

Petite Plage is a small, typically quiet beach located at the northern end of Grand Case on the French side of Saint Martin / Sint Maarten. The shoreline is relatively short (around 200 meters), with fine sand and calm, turquoise water. The beach lies directly opposite Creole Rock, making it a convenient access point for snorkeling and observing marine life. While part of the beachfront is associated with a nearby resort, much of the stretch remains undeveloped and uncrowded, offering a serene seaside setting away from busier village beaches.

How to get to Petite Plage?

Petite Plage is in the Grand Case taxi zone. See our overview of St. Maarten taxi rates to find pricing from this location to your place of departure.

To reach Petite Plage without taking a taxi, take a minibus from Philipsburg to Marigot, then transfer to another bus heading toward the beach.
