VisitStMaarten.com is the official consumer website of the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA), the largest private business representative on the island.

The SHTA is dedicated to bringing quality to all aspects of life on St. Maarten by promoting sustainable economic development.

One of the main responsibilities of the SHTA is destination marketing since the primary source of revenue for the island is tourism. The SHTA is a driving force in marketing the island with efforts ranging from Tradeshows and FAM trips to advertising and sales promotion programs. The SHTA also promotes the importance of tourism to the residents of the island.

The SHTA realized the need for a destination website and therefore developed VisitStMaarten.com. The website recently received a completely new design to appeal to the needs of the consumer.

VisitStMaarten.com is constantly being updated based on feedback we receive from site visitors.
